Last minute bid for Federal Building in Moscow extends auction

MOSCOW, ID - The auction for the Federal Building in Moscow was extended due to increased bidding activity.

It was scheduled for a soft close at 10:00 Friday morning, with a bid for $1.6 million winning. However a new bid for more than $2 million was placed at the last minute. This should have automatically extended the auction 24 hours, but the last bid was not recognized due to technical complications and the auction closed. The General Services Administration investigated the situation, extended the auction, and notified all bidders. Currently, the auction is set to close Saturday afternoon at 1:48 central time with a current high bid of $2.02 million.
