The nine day trip takes visitors to places like the Great Wall of China and Tienanmen Square and for non-chamber members the all inclusive trip is $2,500 with stays at four-star hotels every evening. President Kristin Kemak said the chamber gets opportunities to go abroad at discounted rates so they can create business connections for the community.
"It is a fundraiser for the chamber so there is a certain percentage that is given back to the chamber so it does help us a lot," said Kemak. "As far as how much we get we don't know. It really just depends on how many people are going to go."
Kemak said a group of almost twenty local people are heading to Ireland in a couple of weeks for a similar program through the chamber.
