Lewis-Clark Animal Shelter has pets ready to adopt and always accepts donations

LEWISTON, ID - Its not too late to find love this Christmas season, in an animal shelter.

The L-C Valley Animal Shelter has six dogs and several cats of all ages ready for adoption. But if adoption is not in your foreseeable future, leaders from the Lewis-Clark Animal Shelter said you can still make a difference for the pets of this non-profit shelter.

"Donations whether they be food or other supplies, like medical supplies for the clinic or monetary donations those help us care for the animals throughout the year," said Lewis-Clark Animal Shelter Director Donna Duffau. "So even though the food may be donated in December we will use it sometime during the year."

Qtips, rubbing alcohol, puppy and kitten food and cat litter are just a few other items the shelter always needs that you can donate.
And to let you know, every pet featured in this story is ready for adoption. If you're interested in a new pet or donating you can contact the shelter at 746-1623.
