Lewiston Ambulance Fees to Rise 2%
LEWISTON, ID —
In Lewiston, a ride in an ambulance will soon cost you more - but not by much.
Lewiston city councilors approved a resolution amending ambulance service fees at Monday night's meeting.
The change comes from a recommendation by the EMS advisory board. The board is comprised of members of the Lewiston Fire Department as well as local health care facilities.
The council voted 5-1 in favor of the2% increase, which takes effect October 1st, 2017.
The list of new fees includes advanced life support transport, for example, for which you can expect to pay $714 - $14 more than before.
