Lewiston Police identify body found on East Main
LEWISTON, ID —
Lewiston police have confirmed that the body found off East Main is that of the man missing from Clarkston. An autopsy has confirmed the body was that of Ezekiel Fisher, missing from Clarkston since October 24.
Fisher’s body was discovered Sunday morning around 11:30, but couldn’t be identified at the scene.
Lieutenant Budd Hurd said Fisher’s body was found in a drainage stream inside a wooded area off East Main Street, on the south side of Memorial Bridge. But Lieutenant Hurd said this doesn’t mean the case is closed. They still need the public’s help to finish putting together the puzzle.
“The case is still open because even though the autopsy has been done, we don’t have an autopsy report and they haven’t made a determination on the cause of death,” said Hurd. “We also would like to know if anyone had seen him in that area down by Memorial Bridge in the last week or two. Just to give us an idea of the time frame he was there.”
Fisher was homeless and diabetic, and was known for riding around on a black bike. That bike has not been located. Foul play is not suspected at this time. If you have any information, contact Lewiston Police at (208) 746-0171.
