LPD Community Watch Supervisor Lisa Prouty retires

LEWISTON, ID - Friday was the last day of work for a long-time member of the Lewiston Police Department.

Watch Supervisor Lisa Prouty is retiring after 28 years of service to the City of Lewiston. Prouty said the biggest changes through the years have been technology. One thing she said has never changed, her love for the LPD team.

"Well the chief asked me and I said conflicted," said Prouty. "Because I'm excited about the future but I'm really going to miss being here."

"Lisa will be greatly missed her attitude and her smile and her technical leadership skills really exude the core values of leadership, pride and duty," said LPD Chief Steve Orr. "And I wish her great enjoyment of her retirement."

Prouty said she's looking forward to catching up on some sleep, getting back to a regular schedule and of course spending time with her grand baby.

And from all of us here at KLEW we want to thank Lisa for her public service.
