According to the Lewiston Police Department, a narcotics' detective received a text message on Wednesday morning from someone trying to sell him drugs. The officer texted back and said he was interested. LPD says the man identified himself and agreed to meet and exchange money. That man is 37-year-old Aaron Templeton of Lewiston.
Just before noon, Templeton met up with the detective with 24-year-old Hannah Keen in his vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle. Keen was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Templeton was arrested for conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine which is a felony. Both were taken to the Nez Perce County Jail. it appears that the original text sent to the narcotics officer by Templeton was a wrong number.
