Man behind bars after beating up several people at transitional housing
MOSCOW, ID —
In Moscow a man is behind bars, accused of beating several residents at a transitional housing facility. Daren Estrada faces four counts of battery, and one count of aggravated battery. He’s being held on $50,000 bail in Latah County.
Police responded to a domestic dispute at Sojourner’s Alliance on Monday. They say Estrada was in a fight with his girlfriend and broke a window.
When staff tried to step in they also got hurt, including Executive Director Steve Bonner. His injuries involve broken ribs.
Estrada’s next court appearance is July 20 for a preliminary hearing.
