Mikray Moser benefit fundraiser for teen battling a rare form of cancer

LEWISTON, ID - An 18-year-old Lewiston High School student is suffering from a rare kidney cancer, and needs your help.

A benefit for Mikray Moser is taking place on February first to help his family pay for medical expenses. Moser was diagnosed in October with a rare kidney cancer. According to Mikray's dad Mike, only forty people in the world are diagnosed with the disease every year. The cost to fight the cancer and receive treatment is adding up, so their family and friends are reaching out to the community.

"Usually go to Seattle every week," said LHS senior, Mikray Moser. "And I get an IV infusion."

"Senior in high school should not have to go through this," said Mikray's dad, Mike Moser. "We're going to get through this."

If you'd like to attend the benefit for Mikray it's on February first at the Nez Perce County Fair Pavilion. You don't need a ticket but you'll have the chance to buy silent auction items along with refreshments to help the cause. Head to our Facebook page for more information.
