Moscow City Council agreed a secondary location should be designate for the Farmer's Market

MOSCOW, ID - Moscow's City Council decided to permanently move their Farmers Market to Main Street last year, but the market will temporarily move back to its original location to make room for a different tradition.

The University of Idaho's Homecoming Parade will take over Main Street on September 28th, and the city council decided to move the market into the Jackson Street Parking Log for that day only. the council agreed that the Farmers Market Commission should designate an official secondary location for the market in case Main Street needs to be used for a similar event in the future.

"I'd really like to see us try to figure out that option sooner rather than later," said Moscow City Councilmember Tom Lamar. "Let's not wait till next summer."

The parade will start at 10:00 on Saturday morning, and it's 104th Homecoming Parade that the university has held in Moscow. The market will be open during its regular hours that day from 8:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.
