The paper won't be moving far, their new office is just a few blocks away in the Federal Building that was recently purchased by Gritman Medical Center. They say one of the largest reasons for the move is that the space is just too big.
"Our paper is printed in Lewiston," said Managing Editor Lee Rozen. "Our paper used to be printed here in Moscow, and so there's an awful lot of space in this building to deal with printing a newspaper. We don't use that space anymore."
The Daily News will move into the Federal Building on Monday. The paper sold the building to Economic Modeling Specialists, International for $1 million, and the building will become a division of "Career-Builders." The Daily News has gone through a series of name changes, but the paper has been published on the Palouse for over 100 years.
