Nat'l Weather Service issues flood warning advisory

PULLMAN, WA - The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for parts of northern Idaho and eastern Washington including Asotin, Latah, Nez Perce and Whitman Counties.

The city of Pullman prepared for flooding by putting up barriers downtown, around the South Fork of the Palouse River. According to the National Weather Service, our region will see three separate storm systems this week that will bring warmer temperatures and precipitation.

They said the Valley and the Palouse will see the most rainfall, and when the rain adds to the melting snow, we can expect to see minor flooding. The National Weather Service said the warning will remain in effect until Sunday, so prepare for flooding and avoid driving on flooded roads.
