According to Nez Perce County Auditor Patty Weeks, poll numbers have picked up throughout the past few days and nearly 1,600 people have turned in their ballots. She said just since Monday, nearly 200 voters have taken to the polls.
"We were really kind of worried that it was slow going and now with the debates over and the candidate forums are over that people are now coming to vote," said Weeks.
Idaho voters can visit the Brammer building in downtown Lewiston from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday the 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to cast their ballot.
If you're unable to make it to the polls for early voting or general election day, you can send in a written request to the Lewiston Election Office at P.O. Box 896 in Lewiston and a ballot will be mailed to you.
