New superintendent looking forward to positive activities for students

CLARKSTON, WA - It's a new school year and the Clarkston School District has a new superintendent.

Tim Winter comes to the L-C Valley from Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor. He said even though it's only the second day, he's already seeing a lot of energy from students and staff.

"We're going to come to work every day trying to be our very best for our students and deliver them a great education," said Winter. "The fall sports are starting and the first football game is next week and just a lot of activities. That's the fun part about the fall and school starting, there's a lot of positive activities for students in the community."

You can find a calendar of activities on the school district's web site
