This is the future home of the Jewett Girls Program classroom, located just steps away from their residence. The completion of this classroom is the third phase of new additions to the campus. Since 2011, they've built two other classrooms to facilitate the need of their students and residents.
"We're going to be purchasing new furniture for the class as well as new technology such as computers and technology that the teacher can use as well," said NWCH Director of Development, Erika Allen.
The Regence Group and the Gibney Family Foundation are the two main benefactors of the classrooms, however they still need money to complete the project. Allen said donations are always accepted. The Northwest Children's Home is a center that helps abused, neglected and abandoned children in the region.
