Pet of the Week February Updates

February was a busy time for Helping hands. They held their third annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser and raised over $9,000 to help more animals like this sweet kitty, Shiloh.

She's been with her Helping Hands foster for around two years, almost her whole life, because she had to wait for a surgery that removed all her teeth.

Shiloh doesn't need any special care or food because of her toothless status. This loving cat would be perfect in a quiet relaxed home where she can sit on her person's lap.

Most recently, we met Axel. This three year old lab mix is lively and friendly.

He can be shy at first, but warms up quickly and will be ready to play. Axel would make the perfect family dog, as he's great around even the smallest kids.

He'll need regular exercise and maybe a change in diet.

Going back a little further, we first introduced you to Rose in January.

This sweet Poodle-Pomeranian mix is still searching for a forever home, though she's not quite ready to be re-homed at the moment.

If you'd like to give any of these animals a loving forever home, you can find adoption applications at or call (208) 743-3157. You can also visit Helping Hands at adoption day, every Saturday from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Petco.
