Police respond to shots fired on the WSU campus

PULLMAN, WA - According to WSU Police, shots were fired outside the Children's Center at around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Both WSU and Pullman Police responded to the scene and no one was injured, but the back window of a car was blown out.

"The child care center kept all their kids inside and we're pretty sure that it was BB's being shot at the window." said WSU Assistant Chief of Police Steve Hansen.

According to the WSU News Service, the shooter was using a BB gun to break open the car window. WSU Police are still investigating the incident. They are asking anyone with information to call the WSU Police Department at (509) 335-8548.
