For the twelfth annual concert, Pop Evil and Trapt are bringing people from all over the region to the river this weekend.
Pop Evil's newest single "Trenches" hit the number one spot on the U.S. mainstream rock billboard chart earlier this summer.
Trapt held the number 16 spot on the billboard hot 100 with their former hit "Headstrong."
Co-Chair and Sponsor Chair Corey Sandstrom said the community-centered event, brings non-profit groups together from all over the Valley.
"You know all these different organizations that may never have anything to do with each other are actually bonding and getting in there and getting to know each other and getting those networks," said Sandstrom.
Groups that volunteer at Rockin' on the River, in turn, get proceeds from the event. Tickets are $27 in advance, and $35 at the door. Gates open at 4:00 p.m.
