Pullman High School receives Washington Achievement Award

PULLMAN, WA - Washington's Board of Education has recognized Pullman High School for its hard work in closing the achievement gap.

The school received a Washington Achievement Award based on improvements in standardized test scores and graduation rates. PHS said they make an effort to close the achievement gap by providing low-income students with some extra resources at school so their grades don't suffer.

Pullman's Franklin Elementary School also received an award for high achievement in science.
