Pullman Senior Center celebrates St. Paddy's Day with Irish stew Thursday 3/13

PULLMAN, WA - St. Patrick's Day will be here before you know it, and many establishments are celebrating early this year.

The Pullman Senior Center is one of them they'll host their annual Irish Stew lunch on Thursday afternoon. This is one of the senior center's largest fund raisers, and as you can tell from the footage from last year's meal, it's a popular tradition for the Pullman community.

"It's a unique place here," said Pullman Senior Center Coordinator Steve Bell. "We do a lot of things for the community and for the senior citizens, and it's a group that's more family oriented."

The seniors volunteer to make the meal themselves, and it includes a Beef stew, salad, bread, and pie. If you'd like to gostop by the Senior Center inside of City Hall in downtown Pullman on Thursday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The meal tickets are $6 each and all proceeds go to the upkeep of the senior center and its programs.
