"Restaurant Week" promotion ends Friday in city of Pullman

PULLMAN, WA - Cities across the country hold "Restaurant Weeks" to encourage people to try out new places and eat for cheap, and this year Pullman joined in on the trend.

The Associated Students of Washington State University got a list of local restaurants to put together a special multi-course menu for a fixed price. WSU student Kevin Ketcham came up with the idea as a way to boost the local economy.

"I want to get students off the Hill, which would be the WSU campus and the College Hill area, and downtown to try out what Pullman has to offer and the best way to do that is to offer fixed prices that are low," said ASWSU Director of Community Outreach Kevin Ketcham.

Ricos, the Coug, and Fireside Grill are all offering $12 meals. You'll find $20 meals at Banyans, Birch and Barley, Black Cypress, Paradise Creek Brewery, South Fork Public House and the Hillside Inn. The promotion lasts until Friday, and you can look for this info on our website
