Rockin' on the River draws large crowd and benefits local organizations

CLARKSTON, WA - The weekend was full of fun and great music for those who attended the annual Rockin' on the River event in Clarkston.

Former front man of the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, Scott Weiland, brought in a large crowd from all over the Valley.

"Every show is different," said Rockin' on the River Committee President John Price. "And I think this show for us tonight is a good show. We probably near 2000 people here and for this Valley, that's a great show."

Price said they won't know how much money the concert raised until about three weeks out, after they've paid all the bills and tallied the donations. Proceeds from Rockin' on the River go straight to local community organizations, including charities in the Valley.
