Beasley Coliseum was packed with Snoop Dogg fans for the annual Spring Fest performance Saturday night. A survey was e-mailed out to all the students earlier in the year for feedback on who they wanted to perform.
Special Events Programmer Logan Webbenhurst said Snoop Dogg was overwhelmingly first, however getting him to the Palouse was much easier said than done.
"It took some convincing, it did," said Webbenhurst. "We were talking to his management for about two months or so. But we kept pushing because we wanted Snoop Dogg here in Pullman. And so we got him."
Webbenhurst said Spring Fest is a chance for students to let loose and have fun before buckling down for finals. More than 4,000 people went to the concert, and all the money made from ticket sales will help the student entertainment board keep bringing musicians to WSU's campus.
