Smart Women, Smart Money Financial Conference registration now open

LEWISTON, ID - Idaho Treasurer Ron Crane is in the Valley today (Tuesday) talking to women about an upcoming financial conference that's designed specifically for them.

Crane told us he's here to promote the Smart Women, Smart Money conference which is something he created 15-years ago. So far, over 22,000 women have participated in the program and he expects a big turn-out again this year.

This years key note speaker is well-known actress Patty Duke. Crane said the reason this conference is geared toward women, is because they're the action takers in most families.

"We've had some amazing stories come out of this, about peoples lives that have been changed forever," said Crane. "Knowledge is power, and if you provide them with the information, then they can lift themselves up by their own bootstraps."

Registration for the conference opened today (Tuesday). The conference will be held in Moscow for the first time on September 25th. It'll be at the University Inn Best Western, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 in the afternoon. They only have room for 55-people and registration is free but seating is limited.

You'll need to register online and you can find the link to that website on the KLEW Facebook page.
