Asotin Police said it caused significant damage around the town. Samuel Mcconnell, Jr., 19, Daniel Powell,18, and a 17-year-old male juvenile allegedly painted numerous vehicles, including several owned by an Asotin city council member, and they tagged other items such as a bench, sign, and bicycle. Police said they also painted a racial slur on a fence in large letters.
Authorities said that the three suspects admitted to being together during the time of the alleged incidents. There is also video evidence of them near the Asotin market. Police said all three have so far denied involvement in the vandalism, but the investigation continues.
