Suspect flees during attempted robbery at Pullman's Rite Aid pharmacy

PULLMAN, WA - Pullman police are looking for a man who tried to steal prescription drugs from the local Rite Aid Monday morning.

Pullman Police Commander Chris Tennant said a white male approached the pharmacy counter at the Rite Aid on Bishop Boulevard at about 9:30 Monday morning. He demanded painkiller prescription drugs. Tennant said he stuck his hand under his shirt to make it look like he had a gun, but he never actually displayed a weapon.

Tennant said while the employee was gathering the medication, the suspect got nervous and fled the scene. Police are still looking for the suspect. He's described as a white male in his 20's, about five-feet seven-inches tall, with a thin build. If you have any information, Call Pullman Police at (509) 334-0802.
