Teenage driver of vehicle rollover cited for reckless driving

CLARKSTON, WA - A teenager is facing charges after a one-car rollover that happened around 9:30 Friday morning.

A teen was traveling toward Lewiston on Fleshman Way when his car flipped and went into a fence. He was able to walk away with minor injuries. Sergeant Cory Kingsbury with the Asotin County Sheriff's Office said speed was a factor.

"It appears that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed," said Sergeant Kingsbury. "It went around the corner too fast, slid out of control over the embankment and hit the fence."

The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for reckless driving. Sergeant Kingsbury predicts they'll wrap up the investigation by Monday.
