Ten Mile Bridge construction almost completed

ASOTIN, WA - Asotin County Public Works Director Jim Bridges said the Ten Mile Bridge construction project should finish up by next week.

Years of litigation between a local resident and the Nez Perce tribe halted construction due to the discovery of cultural remains that were found in the construction zone. Guard rails, a layer of rock, then finally the asphalt is all that remains for the construction crews working on the bridge and the road that leads to it.
