The search for Rachel Anderson's body has resumed

CLARKSTON, WA - The search for the body of 40-year-old Rachael Anderson is back underway.

Asotin County Sheriff Ken Bancroft said the search resumed Monday and is expected to last through the week. Most of the search will be around Red Wolf Bridge, but if necessary Bancroft said the area could expand. The U.S. Coast Guard, Nez Perce County Sheriffs Office and Asotin County Fire Department will be helping out on the water.

Anderson disappeared in 2010 and her body has never been found. Her estranged husband, 52-year-old Charles Capone, is scheduled to stand trial later this month in connection with her disappearance.

Boaters are asked to stay clear of the search boats, and maintain a low wake when passing.
