Thieves hit Orchards Community Church again
LEWISTON, ID —
Another burglary has been reported for the second time within the past few months at Orchards Community Church.
Lewiston police said Friday that $1,500 worth of cash and baseball memorabilia were stolen.
The back door to the church had been pried open.
It happened sometime Wednesday night.
“We don’t know why this church in particular has been hit twice,” said Lt. Jeff Klone.
“It’s hard to say, maybe location, or maybe they just see it as a crime of opportunity. It’s hard to say why until we catch the people who did this.”
If you saw anything suspicious around the church on Wednesday, call the Lewiston Police Department at (208) 746-0171.
