Tips from local residents lead to arrest of meth dealer

LEWISTON, ID - A Lewiston man wanted for disappearing during his trial for methamphetamine distribution was arrested Monday evening near Genesee.

A narcotics detective for Idaho State Police said 40-year-old Brian Pratt had a warrant out for several months, but thanks to tips from local residents they were able to make a traffic stop and arrest him on US 95.

Pratt was on trial in March for selling methamphetamine and carrying a pound of meth before disappearing. He's being held in the Nez Perce County Jail without bail.
