Vandals Use Asotin Creek Shooting Range Shelter for Target Practice
ASOTIN, WA —
A popular spot for locals to target practice becomes a target after vandals turned their sights on the covered shelter.
Located 15 miles west of Asotin, the Asotin Creek shooting range is an out-of-the-way spot for target practice, but sometime during Memorial Day weekend, someone blasted holes through the shelter itself. One large hole, likely from a shotgun, was blown through the front of the shelter. Another hole was shot through a security camera warning, one of several posted around the area.
Those cameras managed to capture some images of people WDFW has identified and still want to speak to.
If you have any information on the vandalism, contact the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife at (509) 892-1001.
