Men and women of law enforcement surprised beach goers by water and land at Hidden Beach in Lewiston. Officers said it's important everyone's being safe around the water, which includes not operating their vessel, if over the legal limit.
The beach was filled with hundreds of kids, teenagers and adults. However, law enforcement said everyone was obeying the law, and no underage drinking appeared to be going on.
Both the Nez Perce and Asotin County sheriff's departments will continue to patrol the waterways throughout the summer.
