Ways to expose your children to a wide variety of foods at meal time

CLARKSTON, WA - Kids are working on school work and trying to find time to play with friends, but what about finding time to eat a healthy meal?

Sometimes it's hard to get your kids to eat the healthy stuff, but there are several ways to get them to eat healthy food in a fun way.

"It's very important to expose kids to a variety of fruits, vegetables, grains and their foods, because the more they see it the more comfortable they become with it and it becomes second nature to them," said Clarkston Food Services Director Registered Dietician, Amy Kimberling.

Also, if they see you eating healthy food, they'll want to do the same.
