Ways you can help with the disastrous mudslide in Oso

OSO, WA - The site of a massive landslide in OSO is turning up only the bodies of those trapped in mud from the deadly disaster Saturday.

Searchers said they believe they've found 24-bodies from the slide at this point. Washington State Patrol Spokesman Bob Calkins is expected to release more specific information later this evening.

In the meantime, here's how you can help survivors and those who're helping recover the victims. You can give monetary support to the Red Cross, who've deployed 100 workers to provide support at the disaster site. Visit red-cross-dot-org... call 1-800-Red Cross or text the word redcross to 909-99 to make a $10 donation.

Then there's always a simple gesture of kindness for those recovering at Harborview Hospital. You can send letters to the five patients currently receiving care in Seattle. That address is OSO Landslide Patient. Harborview Medical Center, 325 Ninth Avenue, Seattle, Washington 98104. We'll post this to our Facebook page and website as well.
