WSU student remains in critical condition after balcony fall

PULLMAN, WA - Washington State University student Griffin Healey is still in critical condition at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane after he fell off a balcony early Sunday morning.

Healey fell off a second story balcony at the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, which he is a member of. According to Pullman Police, he was trying to sit on the railing when he fell backwards and hit his head on some rocks. He was originally transported to Pullman Regional Hospital, and later brought to Sacred Heart in Spokane. Police said that Healey had been drinking.
