Idaho State pays $930K in attorney fees in broadband lawsuit

State leaders agree to pay nearly a million dollars in attorney fees for how it handled broadband in schools.

A group of telephone companies sued the state for illegally giving Qwest the $60-million contract.

The contract was voided and many school districts set up their own broadband services, at a much lower cost.
