Boise State University loses quarterback and running back

LEWISTON, ID - For the handful of you Boise State Football fans, we've got some drama brewing.

The departure of Head coach Chris Petersen from Boise State University is beginning to take it's toll on the program as a few players have either left or de-committed in the past few days. Bronco quarterback commit Jalen Greene has decided to follow Petersen to Washington where he will play as a Husky. Also true freshman running back Aaron Baltazar left the team in between the time Petersen left and new Head coach Bryan Harsin was hired.

Baltazar was slated as the number two back on the depth chart, and rushed 50 times for 234 yards and two touchdowns before injuring his knee. He originally committed to Washington but Petersen has said he won't welcome Boise State transfers there.

Boise State will clash with Oregon State at 5 p.m. December 24th in the Hawaii Bowl.
