Charlston honored with Western Athletic Conf. Player of the Week

LEWISTON, ID - With the Idaho women grabbing two wins during this last road trip, junior Alyssa Charlston has been named the Western Athletic Conference women's basketball Player of the Week.

This is the second time the 6 foot 1 post has received this honor in her career. Charlston had her seventh double-double of the season with a 14-point, 17 rebound performance in Idaho's 72-60 win against Texas State. She then had 11 points, six rebounds, and tied a career-high five blocked shots in the win at UTSA. For the week, Charlston averaged 12.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3 blocks per game while shooting 52.2% from inside the arc.
