University of Idaho junior receiver Dezmon Epps was added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list as one of the nation's top receivers. Epps has 23 catches for 265 yards in the Vandals' first three games, and pulled in nine catches for 110 yards against Northern Illinois last Saturday.
On the year, Epps has 23 catches for 265 yards, almost three times as many catches as the second-leading receiver. Head Coach Paul Petrino wants to utilize his star any way he can!
"He's quick, he's competitive, he's got a will to make plays and try to lead his team to a victory," said Petrino. "He's definitely been a bright spot, and that's one of the things we gotta' build on and just get other guys to be playing with that same passion."
Epps and the rest of the team will take their passion eight miles down the road to Martin Stadium to take on the Washington State Cougars this Saturday with a scheduled 7:30 p.m. kickoff!
