Former Bengal/Vandal is now a head coach at Moscow
MOSCOW, ID —
A former Lewiston Bengal and Idaho Vandal will be the next head girls basketball coach at Moscow High School.
Karlee Wilson is taking over after the previous head coach stepped down.
After she graduated from Lewiston High School in 2013, she spent the next four years as a Vandal, competing in two NCAA Tournaments and she’s ready to take that experience into coaching.
“I got to learn from a very smart, talented coach in Jon Newlee and I was captain for two years,” Wilson said. “So, me and him got to have a really good relationship and I knew exactly what he wanted to the court. And the assistant coaches were great in teaching me what it takes to win, what it takes to compete every day in practice and compete with the best teams in the state.”
