LCSC Women Basketball dominated double header weekend

LEWISTON, ID - As for the ladies of Lewis-Clark State College, they played their first couple games this last Friday and Saturday in a double header against Kwantlen University.

Unlike the guys, the Warrior women seemed to have a much easier time dealing with their opponents in these two games. Friday's season opener saw the Warriors force 41 turnovers and a game-high 17 points from freshman Brooke Litalien. In the end, Friday's opener wasn't close as the Warriors easily win 84-23.

Saturday's game two looked pretty similar to the first game as the Warriors forced 41 turnovers again, including an LCSC record 35 steals. The Warriors were lead by junior guard Shelby Barnes who had a team-high 18 points. And the women of the Warriors would go on to dominate once again, beating Kwantlen 88-27.

The ladies will play at Walla Walla University this Tuesday at 5 p.m.
