Lewis-Clark State start Conference strong

Both Lewis-Clark State men’s and women’s basketball programs took on Montana-Western at the LCSC Activities Center on Thursday and both team came out victorious.

For the women, mid-way through the fourth, they lead 63-50, but the Bulldogs would slowly climb back, thanks to the 3-point shooting of Spokane native Brianna King.

But the Warriors would hold on, winning 74-69.

For the men, the had a back-and-fourth game early.

Race Martin started scoring for the Warriors, but shots from Riley King helped the Bulldogs stay in it.

Warriors would pull away in the second half. Race Martin got another double-double on the season, finishing the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds.

Warriors men would win 91-82.
