Marboe lands on Rimington Award watch list

MOSCOW, ID - The season hasn't even started yet and already a University of Idaho football player is on an awards watch list.

Junior Center #74, Mike Marboe has been put on the Rimington Award watch list, an award given annually since 1000 to the player deemed college football's best center. Marboe has started every game at center since 2011, a total of 24 games. The Wenatchee, Washington native seemingly was born to play for the University of Idaho seeing as his father and grandfather were former Vandal players themselves.

The award is named in honor of legendary Nebraska center Dave Rimington.
