National Signing Day 2018

On Wednesday, many high school and junior college players began their collegiate careers, signing their Letter of Intent.

National Signing Day had athletes from all over the nation sign these letters, letting their school know, this is where they are continuing their athletic careers.

Many sports signed but with college football, the Washington State Cougars signed most of the class of 2018 in December with 20.

On NSD, they wrapped up the class with four more (as of 1 pm on 2/7/18).

Idaho football signed 10 players this go around, signing 22 in total including early signees.

D’Andrei Pittman, LB, Laplace, LA

Tre Walker, LB, Dos Palos, CA

Jaxon Woodward, ATH, Seattle, WA

Vandals soccer also signed nine players with California, Washington and Idaho represented.

One of the players from Idaho is Lewiston’s Maddie Haas and head coach Derek Pittman seems high on the Bengal.

“I’ve been watching her play and she was one of the first players I went after when it came to this class,” Pittman said. “Just love her feisty mentality and to be able to keep a Lewiston High School talent here is fantastic for us.”
