Quarterback Connor Halliday added to Watch List

PULLMAN, WA - As many Division One football players on the Palouse get added to watch lists during the preseason, we finally see our first QB.

Washington State quarterback Connor Halliday has been named to the 2014 College Football Performance Awards Quarterback Trophy Watch List. Halliday is one of seven Pac-12 QB's included on the 40-member list. The senior started all 13 games for the Cougars last season, setting a school single-season record with 4,597 passing yards, second-most in Pac-12 conference history. The Spokane native also set school records for pass completions, pass attempts, and tied the school record with 34 touchdown passes.

Halliday and the Cougars open their 2014 season Thursday, August 28th against Rutgers in the Seattle game at CenturyLink Field.
