Rapovy wins her first Frontier Conference Award

LEWISTON, ID - And not to be outdone, but over on the women's side, you may be hearing the classic song "Anything you can do I can do better!"

Alyssa Rapovy, a sophomore on the Lewis-Clark State College Women's Cross Country team, was named the Frontier Conference's Female Runner of The Week. Rapovy finished third out of 268 runners at the NAIA National Preview with a time of 18 minutes, 26 seconds on the 5k course, helping her team to a fourth-place finish in the team standings.

It is the first Frontier Conference Award for Rapovy, and the second for an LCSC women's runner this season as Rachel Cundy received the honor on September 2nd.

The Warriors host the Inland Empire Championships on Saturday morning at their home course in the Lewiston orchards.
