Stacy Barr wins WAC Player of The Week

MOSCOW, ID - Just last week, an Idaho women's basketball player won a conference 'Player of the Week' award, this week they keep on coming in!

Idaho junior guard Stacey Barr has been named Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball 'Player of the Week', earning the first honor of her career. The Melbourne, Australia, native led Idaho to a 68-63 win over UC Irvine Saturday with her first double-double of the year while matching her season high with 21 points and a career-best 16 rebounds. On the season Barr is averaging 15.3 points along with 7.8 rebounds per game.

Last week, Idaho senior post player Alyssa Charlston won the award, giving Idaho two 'Player of the Week' awards in a row!
