Warriors finish at No.2 spot on NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll

LEWISTON, ID - With the regular season done, we don't yet know who will be in the 2014 Avista NAIA World Series, but we do know the final rankings.

The Lewis-Clark State College Baseball team stayed at the number two spot in the final regular-season edition of the NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The 43-7 Warriors received one of 20 possible first-place votes and 540 overall points in the nationwide balloting of coaches, 20 behind consensus number one Oklahoma Baptist.

The Warriors are in a better spot than they were last year when they were tenth, being second will drastically help their seeding. The team will be idle until opening play at the 2014 Avista NAIA Baseball World Series on Friday, May 23 or Saturday, May 24.
