Washington State beats Boise State in OT thriller
PULLMAN, WA —
Washington State and Boise State had themselves a thriller on Saturday night.
You couldn't script this one any better.
The Boise State Broncos scored first, then, things got discouraging for the Broncos.
Frankie Luvu nails Brett Rypien, making him miss the rest of the game.
Montell Cozart comes off the bench and makes it happen.
So much so, that the Broncos lead the Cougs 31-10 at one point during the fourth quarter.
Things looked even more bleak, when QB Luke Falk was taken out of the game because of injury. But that didn't stop the Cougs.
WSU roared back into the game, tying the game at 31, forcing overtime.
In OT, running back Jamal Morrow soared to scored the game-winning touchdown in triple overtime.
In the fourth quarter battle of the back-ups, Cougs win 47-44.
